Welcome, Micah Ori (From a Distance)

One of our favorite books teaches that - To make a baby, you need a sperm, an egg, and some place for the baby to grow, called a uterus. It turns out that you also need a patient and uncomfortable momma, some supportive grandparents, and a little medical chaos during a pandemic. (At least that's how this baby's gonna remember it.)

On May 12, 2020, Micah Ori Gilden was born into a beautiful family. Aunt Syssa and Uncle Craig hadn't originally planned on giving birth during coronapocalypse, but alas, they did. All is healthy; all is beautiful.

Team Cohen (minus essential-working Daddy) were permitted to a socially distanced visit one afternoon to introduce ourselves to baby Micah.

We are so proud to welcome this new baby cousin/nephew into our family and can't wait to hold and squeeze and hug and kiss beautiful Micah when it's safe and healthy to do so.
