Sweet Berry Farm

The ironic thing about every day in Corona Break resembling the movie Groundhog Day is how hard we are working each day to create special, unique experiences with educational, physical, and pleasurable opportunities for our family. (Case in point, the insane increase in blog posts since March began, highlighting said experiences.) To that extent, we took advantage of the end of strawberry picking season in Texas by driving an hour away to Marble Falls to enjoy the day at Sweet Berry Farm.

After picking, weighing, and buying our fresh fruit and (obviously) stopping for the photo ops, we wore out the kids on the Berry Bounce.

Spencer thought he would brave the gelatinous hill, especially with big sibs' support and encouragement. Then, he quickly realized, "NOPE! Not for me!"

Next up, a ride on the Sweet Berry Express Barrel Train!

While waiting for Gabi and Ethan to ride the train, someone got a little impatient.

It turned out that Spencer had a pretty good idea!

Freshly picked strawberries were such a deliciously sweet treat!

What's a farm without animals?

And last, but not least, a cool treat of fresh strawberry ice cream after our picnic lunch.
