Lag B'Omer

It was Day 483 of Corona Break and Day 33 of the Omer (the time between Passover and Shavuot) - an excuse to celebrate! It's a day of celebrating a history of a plague ending (didn't happen this year) and celebrating continued learning amidst challenges (relatable). We had planned on picnicking outside with our cousins, but when wet grass prevented that, we moved the picnic inside!

Aunt Debbie reads a Lag B'Omer story called The Perfect Holiday for Ari Ant.

Hamburgers, hot dogs, watermelon, and french fries! All on the floor with family on picnic blankets! What could be better?

At the end of the night, we joined a shul event with games, a "bonfire," and songs.
