Swiss Cheese

SOMEHOW, all 5 humans of Team Cohen have lived the last 22 months and NOT (to our knowledge) contracted Coronavirus. We have stayed away. We have masked. We have remained outdoors. AND FINALLY, thanks to the ridiculously hard work of scientists around the world, 2 of our children were approved for the best layer of protection yet.

No kid ever enjoys getting a shot, and these kids were so brave. We are very proud of their patience and cooperation as keeping our family safe and protected has undoubtedly been a team effort.


Celebratory ice cream!

The under-5 kiddo has been doing his part as best he can and will get his next layer of swiss cheese protection just as soon as he can. So he obviously needed a frozen treat too.

When it came time for the 2nd shot in arms, girl child #1 looked like this after having been awake all night rejecting anything from entering her stomach-

So, boy child braved it alone.

And finally, after all buggies were gone from all bodies, girl child got her 2nd shot:

Gabi's 2nd shot coincided with the same day that Ethan was officially 2 weeks past his 2nd shot! There was much to celebrate.

Now, we wait with bated breath until late February to poke the will-be 5-year-old in the arm. We're so close!
