buildable sketching machine |
Ethan got to work right away and had the machine built and fully operational by the time we lit the next Chanukah candles.
Night 3, and the lights get even brighter:
We got some VERY exciting new remote toys from Uncle Jason, Aunt Alana, and cousins in Florida.
On Night 4, Daddy was home, the oil came out, and Team Cohen was ready for LATKES!
As long as the oil was still out, we might as well fry up some homemade dough for oily, sugary, and yummy donuts for a sweet Chanukah treat!
challah donuts! |
Night 4 also included Facetime fun with Grandma and Grandpa while opening a box of great goodies that they sent.
fun with our new bounce and spin dreidel |
Introducing "JUDAH MACABOT!" {Insert banging head emoji here.}
new Chanukah socks |
Night 5: |
We opened presents with Aunt Sandi!
On Shabbatukah (aka Shabbat Chanukah Night 6), the whole house was full of light!
We were excited about our chomemade Chanukah challah.
(At least one of them was excited...one of them MAY have been developing a slight fever...) |
Night 7 brought us Chousins Chanukah! We started out with edible Chanukah treats, dreidels and chanukiot.
Chousins Chanukah continued with playing a new game that the Gildens had opened earlier in the week's celebration.
7 (+1) candles X 6 children = quite a LOT of candles!
quite a LOT of candles! |
present exchange |
Before starting our final Night 8, the children organized a festive game of dreidel:
An unexpected present showed up for Mommy and Daddy!
These little lights of mine - I'm gonna let 'em shine.
We were lucky to open a few more presents sent from Grandma and Grandpa, wrapped very creatively.
Chappy Chanukah! Don't let the light go out; it's lasted for so many years.
