Choo Choo Party (Etc)

When Ethan's birthday fell smack in the middle of the week on a Wednesday this year, when were we supposed to celebrate with family and friends, the weekend before or the weekend after? Spoiler alert: BOTH! Team Cohan drove in for Labor Day to surprise us and help Team Gilden and Team Cohan get the Ethan party started.

Once we had that many more people for our pre-gaming celebration, I decided it was now a "thing," so we needed junk snacks and treats. Off to the grocery store at 6:45 am!

Per Ethan's request, we all (even Grandy and Papa Jay) ventured out for another riveting visit to Cedar Rock Railroad for his "Choo Choo Party!"


Jacob had the responsibility of the 2 littlest ones, and he nailed it.

The Jacob-Spencer duo was quite adorable.

And then we just kept the party going and going and going...


We were grateful for the extra snuggles, extra company, and extra fun everyone brought us for the special weekend together!
