Remember the Magic - Epcot

Our last day arrived, and the girls were as determined as ever to get an early start. Because it was also a travel day, we were limited with our timing at our last park.

Our last and final day took us to Epcot, and we arrived before the park even opened! We stayed focused on accomplishing our priorities since we had to head to the airport early in the afternoon...Well, Mira and I stayed focused...Gabi still wanted her photo ops.

We didn't have a whole lot of extra time to explore the art festival happening that month at Epcot, but we enjoyed the pretty displays we passed.

We went to "The Seas with Nemo & Friends," which had an aquarium attached to the ride (where we sat in a "clamobile"). There were a lot of exhibits to explore and aquatic animals to observe in addition to the two huge manatees we learned a lot about.

Ignoring the part where we had already met them at other parks, we were grateful for a fast pass that helped us skip most of a long line to meet 3 of the most popular Disney characters.

The Gabsters didn't shy away from showing her Mickey Mouse love, and Mickey showed his love for her shirt.

Epcot Mickey noticed Mira's hat too.
Minnie gave Gabi a twirl.

(Note to anyone who knows Mira: She began the day/trip not wanting any pictures of
just her with a character, but eventually, she realized...."Ok...maaaaaaaaybe I do....")

For our last ride, we went inside the iconic Spaceship Earth geosphere (aka big Epcot ball) to take a trip back in time studying the development of communication through the ages.

Mira's last request before heading out to the airport was visiting the Living Statues. The aqua-themed man took hold of the hat (repeatedly and hilariously), and the air-themed guy sure confused Gabi.

Gabi's last request on our way out: one more character meeting with Pluto!

Conquering Epcot (and all of Disney World) - CHECK!

We may have had to say 'Goodbye' to Disney World, but we took the fun with us to the airport.

None of our seats were right next to each other on the airplane, but thankfully, the girls were too tired to notice or care.

We were briefly united with the rest of Team Cohan at the Houston airport before we had to bid temporary adieu to Mira. We had such a great trip together, and I was so grateful for her company. Mira was comfortable enough with me to give me plenty of sass and playful attitude, and I enjoyed watching and listening to her observe Disney World with mature appreciation and interest.

And then there were 2. Happy Birthday, sweet girl.
