Round Rock Express

A friend had some extra tickets to a Round Rock Express (local minor league team) game, and we decided that it'd be the perfect opportunity to take the big kids to their first baseball game. Daddy took Gabi and Ethan for a special outing, and to make it even better, Sunday was Kids' Day!

First stop - the Round Rock Express, of course!

Another Kids' Day treat was the bounce house!

Walking into the stadium:

Jon was very pleasantly impressed at how kid-friendly the entire experience was!

They sat on the lawn in a nice shady spot, making the Texas summer evening that much more tolerable.

Ethan came home to report the yummy "flat pizza" they enjoyed.

Each well-behaved big kid got to choose a special treat.

yummy popcorn and ice cream!

Showing off their newly learned skills before heading home:

Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Mommy had the tough task of tackling a single toddler. You'd think that would be easy when you're used to 3 kiddos. You'll go on a nice stroller walk and have a pleasant dinner together. Then you'd realize that you have no idea why the kid is screaming hysterically when you're trying to feed him.

Why was he screaming so dramatically, you ask? Because Mean Mommy wasn't sharing her ketchup.

All's well that ends well!
