Somehow, this little man is already halfway to a year! March 4, 2015 - Ethan Robert turns 6-months-old! At Ethan's 6 month well check appointment, he measured at 26.75" (51st%) in height and weighed 18 lb (58th%).

After Ethan went upstairs to nap, Gabi decided that she and Monkey needed a 6-month photoshoot as well.

In March, Ethan got more and more stable at sitting up unassisted. By the end of the month, he was about 80% there! (But he was at least stable enough to sneak a few cute pictures before someone had to catch him...)

6-month-old Ethan decided that rolling was getting him where he needed to go, and he should figure out how to really move. (We assumed he'd wait until he was 100% sitting up on his own, but he had places to go.) Then one day (3/20), he saw the cell phone just out of reach...That was the only motivation he needed:

While it's getting harder to be 2 each day...

Gabi sure is turning out to be a sweet girl.

She is a fantastic big sister.

March is a gorgeous month in Austin. We live through many many hot months, but we get a couple good ones thrown at us each us. On one pretty morning, we decided that Ethan is big enough to start experiencing the wrath of the ducks and geese up close and personal. (Note the great outfit given by Aunt Mandy including hippo shirt, hippo hat, and of course the plaid shorts!)

Gabi's been in training for 6 months now, and I think she's ready to take over now. She's got this:

2 months later, and now that the weather and lawn conditions allow, we are finally ready to debut the birthday presents we got for Gabi. Thanks so much to Gigi for Gabi's (and Ethan's) new water table! Gabi asks to play with it daily.

Thanks to Becca for giving us the slide structure Nora was no longer using! AND to add to the backyard fun, we got Gabi a fun playhouse for her birthday as well.
