Our first afternoon took us to Chipotle for lunch. These perfect angels were perfect, of course.
Next up: Field trip to the pool!
The next day took us on a field trip to the Austin Aquarium!
Mommy Camp tickets came with tokens to be able to feed and pet sting rays!
We enjoyed our encounters with the macaws and parrots:
We met 21-year-old Sparty the tortoise who walked around the facility freely with a balloon (so he wouldn't get stepped on).
We were excited to see Ethan's favorite animal, otters:
We spent time in the aviary with a diverse collection of interesting birds:
Anyone can engage in a staring contest with a large iguana. Few can win.
The parakeet encounters amused each of us.
Mommy Camp included time for the brain and soul:
Some kids just can't handle their Mommy Camp:
Mommy Camp Day 3 went to the bowling alley!
Post-bowling lunch treat:
Mommy Camp proved once again to need built-in rest and recovery time:
