Camp Young Judaea - Summer 2022

'Twas the 2nd half of summer, and all through the state,
These Jewish kids were getting ready to celebrate.

CYJ was starting, and we packed up the crew
We were especially excited for Thing One and Thing Two.

Unlike last summer, ours both went the whole time.
Onto the pictures; enough with this rhyme.
-----
Cousins Jacob, Ethan, Gabi, and Mira were ready for their summer adventures!

All smiles at drop-off:

Definite adult smiles after drop-off:

Having "only" gone for 10 days last summer, not-even-8-year-old Ethan set forth for a month-long adventure!

And, of course, Ethan was there with familiar faces:

camp cousin crew!

And speaking of familiar faces, sister Gabi was there having her 2nd summer of CYJ adventures:

going on a "Kosher Hunt" at the grocery store!

Finally after 3-and-a-half weeks, it was time to return home, and the brother left behind was very excited!

The reunion was sweet!

The whole house was excited to be full again.

Cohen Crazies were back together again, and we celebrated with CYJ's famous coffee cake! Welcome back, my loves!

(Also part of the reemergence was the 4+ hour nap, my daughter calmly took within 15 minutes of returning home. Rest up, sweet girl.)
