Sukkot Start: Building and the First Few Days

On year 2 with our Sukkah, we felt like quite the experts. We were excited for the season to return, and we knew just how to put all the parts together. With everyone's help, it went up incredibly quickly, smoothly, and easily.







On Sukkah Setup Day 2, the Gilden family joined us to decorate the sukkah that their family would share as well.

On the first night of the holiday, Daddy had to work, so the rest of us hosted Team Gilden for our first meal in our beautiful tabernacle.

On the first day - and most other days of the holiday - we were excited to shake the lulav and etrog all around us, symbolizing the omnipresence of God.

Sharing the Sukkah with Team Gilden meant more togetherness, more eating, more cousins, more shaking, and more fun.
