Over the next (almost) 5 years our friendship has grown through a shared love of sarcasm, fro yo, each other's children, being sometimes smart moms, and much more. Our babies have bonded in ways we couldn't have imagined. The Hammonds have joined us for our simchas and immersed themselves into our family for Thanksgivings. In addition to monthly and other babysitting exchanges, they helped watch Gabi so we could attend birthing classes, and we helped watch Nora when Becca had surgery. Becca and I have also spent countless hours together ignoring the rest of our families.
Adult friendships are hard, and this one was always easy. It's amazing that we forced our babies to love each other as well. This post is dedicated to the strong bond created between our families. We will miss them incredibly as they move to Delaware.
Before saying "Goodbye," we had the Hammonds over for one last dinner and play time:
Our final farewell was fittingly at a fro yo establishment named, "Yo So Cool." That is all.
