An Aunt Mor New Year

When Aunt Mor was visiting Texas for a week, she decided to come visit Team Cohen on New Year's Day and spend the night in Austin! We had a great time catching up and spending way too many hours in our pajamas (as is normally the case over the last 22 (!) years of friendship).

We ventured to a yummy local eatery, Magnolia Cafe, and Aunt Mor had fun reuniting with Gabi while waiting for our table:

trying to get THE shot...but we had sunglasses...

ALMOST there, but we can do better from Gabi...

THERE's the picture!

Inside the restaurant, we discover
Gabi's apparent like for tabouli.

But then we overstuffed her with tabouli, and she spit it
up all over herself...so we ended up with a naked baby.

happy in our new outfit

In the morning, we wake up to a happy baby and more good times.

Aunt Mor delivered an early birthday present, a beloved soft hippo doll, which of course Gabi LOVED!

Mommy needs to get in on the fun too:

Before heading back to Houston, we head to Kosher Deli for some yummies and (of course) more smiles! Even Daddy lets us twist his arm to drag himself to get deli.

This, of course, is my daughter's proper etiquette while dining out. Parenting win!

Some 11-month-olds just can't handle too much of a good thing...
