Gabi let me know that she had been thinking about blue highlights. That seemed crazy to me, until it didn't, and I realized there were worse ways a tween could try to express herself. Turning it into a special one-time occasion birthday present from Nana and Zayde, this cool mom took her newly-turned 12-year-old baby girl on a hair adventure I've never even experienced myself.
