Misc. November 2024

November began with an unexpected Mommy trip to Atlanta to be with Zayde while he was in the hospital for an unplanned surgery. Those left behind kept on keeping on and went to a high school production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Saturday night.

While Ethan was out, Gabi and Spencer got to play at Ninja Nation.

After a week away, Mommy returned, and the reunion was so sweet.

Mommy returned just in time to be present for Spenceman to FINALLY lose his very first tooth! Quickly followed by Spenceman losing his very second tooth.

Kitten spotlight for November:

just another day(s) that ends in -y

Speaking of days that end in -y, we had lots and lots and lots of CohGil time this month.

The elementary school hosted their annual Thanksgiving feast, so Aunt Syssa and I camped out as the students rotated in and out with their various classes.

Carpool has gotten more crowded lately:

Gilden adults certainly stepped up when the Cohen Mommy was out of town, and when it was the Gilden Mommy's turn to visit Zayde, it called for pizza and movie night together!

And in other news:

He just wasn't tired and couldn't go to bed.

When Ethan spent some time in his room resetting one afternoon, he used his time quite wisely and creatively.

We video chatted with Zayde many times to lift his spirits.

Spencer made it to the 5th round of the
2nd grade Spelling Bee Finals!

And at the end of the month, Mommy deserted the family again to travel to Atlanta, and the rest of the crew returned from their Thanksgiving adventures. They seem to have done ok.

Gabi Thanksgiving in Houston

Team Cohen split 3 ways over Thanksgiving in a many-moving-parts equation. Gabi joined her 2 Texas aunts and uncle in Houston, thanks to the power of multiple-human coordination. These are the pictures shared with me to capture some of the fun:

Gabi was treated to 2 different brand new movies in the theater.
