Ethan and Daddy Go to Florida

Up third in the "Daddy Takes Individual Children to Grandma and Grandpa's House in Florida" was a very patient Ethan, 6 months after his first sibling got the opportunity. This kid who LOVES attention certainly had quite the most special time.

First stop off the plane was to a crowd favorite.

Then, to the house where the welcoming decorations and gifts were all about Ethan, all of the time.

The next morning, Daddy treated Ethan to batting cage practice before a visit from Cousins Rebecca, Joe, Grayson, and baby Berkley.

I was told that cousin Grayson quickly warmed up and had a great time playing with Ethan in and out of the pool.



Daddy and Ethan did a great job at keeping in touch with those of us back at the ranch. Things may have gotten out of control, though...


On Sunday, Ethan had one of the best days of his entire life when he got to go to his VERY FIRST REAL MLB GAME!!! He insisted on arriving as soon as the doors opened to fans and insisted on roughly 783 pictures taken throughout the afternoon.


Ethan and Daddy visited the Miami Marlins Museum celebrating the World Series Champions of 1997 and 2023.




Not even Mommy has been to a professional game with a Kosher grill!

After the game, Ethan got to run the bases. He was so excited to touch dirt on an "ACTUAL MLB FIELD!"


The Marlins won! Ethan said the game was "not good, not great, but STUPENDOUS!"

Back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for relaxation after such excitement! The pool worked for day AND night entertainment.

And last, but certainly not least, to round out a successful Florida trip for this sports fanatic was Game 7 of the NHL Finals. The Florida Panthers had never won a Stanely Cup before. They have now!
