Chappy Chanukah 2022

Our Chanukah choliday was full of 8 crazy nights and so many friends, family, gifts, fried foods, light, dreidels, treats, and more. Before the holiday even started, the kids wanted to warm up their dreidel skills one morning before school with grapes. Who was I to say, "No"?

Night 1:

I was able to sport my brand new Chanukah shirt, and we all enjoyed playing with our new story cubes from Nana and Zayde.

Night 2:

We were grateful to play new games from Uncle Jason and Aunt Alana.

Day 2 found us making a special snack of edible chanukiyot.

Night 3: potato latkes!

L for Latke!

On Night 3, we opened up a package from Grandma and Grandpa and were thrilled with the world's largest Harry Potter dolls, one for each kid. When we called them to thank them, we got to light candles and sing with Florida too.

Night 4 was with Nana and Zayde!

Night 5 was at a friend's get together. Thanks, Pruet Pack!

Day 5's special Chanukah snack out of homemade pretzels in the shapes of chanukiyot, sufganiyah, dreidel, and Jewish star.

Night 6 with our shul community:

Night 7 at the CohGil Chanukah Party! We started with a Jewish star craft that Grandma and Grandpa had sent to us.

The party moved to the kitchen where it was time for the edible craft of the night!

Things got a little out of control when we needed to figure out what to do with the leftover cookie icing.

So, we moved onto another - also not healthy - eating option: Fried pizza rolls! Aka the perfect Chanukah cousins pizza!

presents 🤗

And lastly - because we hadn't done enough special Chanukah things in one night yet - homemade donuts!

Finishing out the choliday with some treats and more presents. (Thanks to Boston Kayes for the blanket Connect 4!)

Full of love, and full of light.
