Excitedly dancing our way into Shabbat:
Team Cohen had brought freshly baked banana bread to help kickoff the birthday weekend sweetly.
In addition to helping Mira with the birthday treat, Team Cohen's kiddos had each drawn a picture of what Mira should consider for her new big girl room.

On Saturday morning, we headed to Levy Park, one of our Houston favorites. We were hoping for water play fun and were disappointed that the water was shut off. BUT, we still found plenty of other fun things to do. (Most of which is unphotographed because Debbie was distracted.)
Why was Debbie too distracted to take fun pictures of her babies doing fun things? Because Debbie was on a playdate with Aunt Mor, bestie since 1992. It was so nice to hug again!
Scenes from around our weekend:
Fun with food! (Note the Texas-shaped banana bread and the beautifully carved challah Aunt Debbie crafted.) |

Sunday was Mother's Day, so I got my babies to take pictures with me, of course! This way, I can remember them smiling and hopefully forget the moments when...we're not smiling...
Jon took 5 kids to the park down the street, so 2 mothers could be without their babies for some time on Mother's Day. He gets it. Kinda.
Spencer gave a few extra squeeze hugs to Birthday Teen Mira before we headed out of Houston.
How did Reggie do on the long trek back? ...Just fine.
