Lag B'Omer

Lag B'Omer is a holiday commemorating the 33rd day of the Omer, the period between Passover and Shavuot. It's a day of celebrating a history of a plague ending and continued learning amidst challenges. Last year, the modern plague was only beginning and prevented us from being physically together with community. This year, despite a 2nd annual wet weather day, we were able to join with the local Israeli American Council for an in-person event outside of our shul, filled with archery, sack races, crafts, tug-of-war, Israeli food picnic, "bonfire," marshmallow roasting, and s'mores.
