Reggie showed up a week into the new year. She is now a 3-month-old puppy who is potty training, teething, yet trainable, responsive, playful, friendly, and oh so sweet.
It took Reggie a full week to figure out how to use the stairs. When she managed success with them, the other guys needed to regroup and come up with a new avoidance plan.
Remember, Rona's here too.
Rona gave us a bit of stress this month when she got out of her cage and found the tiniest opening to an inner wall that we couldn't reach. She managed to chew her way into the wall, making a bigger and bigger hole. We could only observe her by taking pictures and videos by inserting the phone camera into the hole, using the flash. Fearing her meeting a devastating electrical fate, we bent a hanger wire, poked her, and guarded the hole until she eventually crawled her way back out.

How have the OG cats responded to all this added chaos, you ask?
Maggie locked herself in a cage. |
Nikki's not even allowed in the bed. |
They are learning to tolerate the newbies. |
Dewey is certainly our social butterfly of the circus.
These 2 blonde/ginger babies have become total besties in their short time together:
