March 2020 - Prepandemic

Typically, I blog each month the various fun that happens around the other stuff. This month, due to a worldwide virus pandemic, we were consumed by the "other stuff" and various didn't last that long. Here's what did happen before the crisis. Zayde doesn't like my use of the word "random," but these certainly are the random pictures taken in March...before we went on lock down.

Spencer has masterfully perfected the
toddler head-down, stubborn stance. Here,
his sister stands with him in solidarity.

solidarity in happier times
And speaking of stubborn, the boy
FINALLY let me capture a video of the
book my children have traditionally
recorded a year earlier.

Spencer thought he was pretty darn funny putting on Daddy's sneakers before school (as most kids do). What he didn't expect was for Daddy to then show up wearing Spencer's shoes...

After counting down, Ethan was quite excited for March 4th to arrive. He was FINALLY 5-and-a-half!!! His heart's desire? A lollipop! Surely, permitting that before school would be unhealthy and irresponsible, so I promised him one in the afternoon. So, of course, 5-and-a-half Oreos seemed ok though...

(He DID get a lollipop later,
and quite the lollipop, it was!)

My baby boy loves his selfies:

quite *get* the idea of shared space
