Kindergarten Graduation
While I remain in the team of individuals who believe that a Kindergarten graduation is essentially celebrating mediocrity (#participationaward), I will recognize that 6 years ago, I could not have pictured my baby girl finishing her first year of elementary school. Yes, this year has not been without calls from the principal, assistant principal, nurse, and numerous emails from her teacher about Gabi's behavior choices. BUT - she has also bloomed into a writer, reader, scientist, and continued along her journey of being a lifelong learner. I certainly didn't spend nearly enough money on flowers and balloons as the good parents (spoiler alert: I spent none). BUT - it's a good thing to take any excuse to be proud of our soon-to-be 1st grader!
