Shayna Miriam

On the morning of October 14, 2017 - right on time - Shayna Miriam Gilden was welcomed on her due date after a super speedy 3 hour labor for Alyssa. We were thrilled to welcome a niece to Austin and overjoyed for the Gildens in bringing this beautiful baby girl into their family!

Shayna is welcomed into this new family of 4. (Big 2-year-old Joey became a big brother!!!)

Uncle Jon got to be the first of Team Cohen to meet baby Shayna as he zipped on by on his way home from work. He enjoyed sweet niece snuggles.

Jon came home to relieve me, and it was Aunt Debbie's turn to love on new baby Shayna!

Aunt Sandi rushed out of Houston when she heard the news of Shayna's arrival, and Team Cohan joined us in the hospital room too.

Cousins Pizza that night led itself to Cousins Havdalah. (Even 3 Elmos participated!)


We tucked the littles in bed, and then Mira, Jacob, and I headed to special-aunt-time at fro yo!

At long last (after 2 days), Shayna, Mommy, and Daddy FINALLY came home from the hospital. Her Austin cousins had been waiting tirelessly to meet her!

My baby wasn't so small anymore...
