Inaugural Splash Pad

Around this time every year, we head to our first splash pad of the season. Brushy Creek Park seems to be the only one running through May, and with schools still in session, we can enjoy uncrowded space. I always enjoy seeing how my children approach the water play differently with another year's growth, and I enjoyed that aspect once again. 

When Gabi and Ethan woke up and found out about the morning's plan, they insisted on putting on their bathing suits right away! Added benefit was the new suits from Grandma!

Our friends Maven and Addi joined us for fun at the splash pad too!

Sigh...if only my kids enjoyed themselves at water parks...




After a long while of splashing and eating and splashing some more, they decide to dry off and rest in the sun.
