Rainy Day(S!) Fun

the sun did not shine. it was too wet to play. so we sat in the house all that cold, cold, wet day.

i sat there with {gabi and ethan}. we sat there, {with the} two. and i said, 'how i wish we had something to do!'

too wet to go out and too cold to play ball. so we sat in the house. we did nothing at all.

so all we could do was to
sit!
   sit!
      sit!
         sit!
and we did not like it. not one little bit.

Man oh man, May was a wet wet month in Austin. Fantastic for Texas! Not fantastic for active toddlers... But alas, creative plans to the rescue! 

'i know some good games we could play,' said the {mom}. 'i know some new tricks,' said the {dad and the mom}. 'a lot of good tricks. i will show them to you. your mother will not mind at all if i do.'

We discovered Locomotion Inflatable Play. We loved it because it had inflatables, ball pit, gated area with great baby toys, pretend play stations, AND indoor playground. What more could you want? By the 2nd time we went, Gabi could climb on anything without help, and when she got up to the tall tall slide for ages 5-10, all we could do was wait at the bottom, and out she came - and she LOVED it!

She needed our help up at first, but look at her go now!

playing in the foam pit at Hop 'N Happy with Daddy- It's a challenge to get everyone looking at the camera and smiling at the same time, but sometimes we get pretty close!
