Ethan has slowed down (good grief) on the crazy gross motor milestones but is growing beautifully. He is crawling faster, pulling up more, and getting MUCH less clumsy with his dismount strategy. (He really isn't taking steps and is barely cruising, so I don't see him walking anytime soon. Trust me, I am not disappointed OR complaining!) Ethan now claps with his hands open; baby clapping is pretty cute! He has added /b/ and other liquid sounds to his language, and he loves to babble and make noise. He is definitely the charmer, and while stranger anxiety kicked in full-gear this month, he still gives away the smiles plenty. And big Ethan has a few new hairs and 2 new teeth (his first on top) this month too!
For anyone who ACTUALLY pays attention to the blog (which may be less than a handful of people), I am often writing about my fascination with Gabi's language. Her language continues to get more complex and sophisticated all the time! (Unfortunately for us, the "Why?" stage has begun as well...) She is also starting to joke, which will be a helpful survival tool in this family.
