Vacation/Staycation

All Don/Judy descendants (minus the Bostonian Kayes) met up for a weekend of fun at Schlitterbahn and Sea World! Then Gabi and I joined Nana in Houston to play for the week. We all enjoyed our time with family, but I especially enjoyed my aunt time with Mira and Jacob, and I really enjoyed watching the cousins interact.  Mira and Jacob were WONDERFUL with Gabi, wanting to help and interact with her in so many special ways. Here are some great pictures taken from our time together.

Pre water park fun:

Sea World fun:

After Aunt Sandi takes a nibble out of Gabi, Gabi decides to take a pinch out of Mira...
just passing on the love.

Nana bought a tray of fish to help Mira feed the seals and sea lions. Pretty sure that was a first for all of them!

And there is our friend, eager and ready to eat!

No babies were (terribly) harmed
in the making of this vacation.

Back in Houston - ....this is what happens when small children get their hands on your phone or camera...(Keep in mind, these are the ones that are actually "ok" enough to share, gotta love my niece and nephew!)

As stated earlier, Gabi's cousins were so wonderful with her! Mira and Jacob wanted to sit next to her in the car, grab THE toy that would calm her, push her in the stroller, help feed her bottles, and here they are giving their baby cousin a great bath!

Aunt Sandi and Jacob teach Gabi the fine art of playing the xylophone. And fine art, it was - never heard such heavy metal played on a child's (or other) xylophone before...

And the last night we were there, we ended on a high note with all three cousins sharing the bath together. This bath included toys AND bubbles. With all of those elements, what could be better?! THIS IS THE LIFE!

And for fun, here is Gabi's first ride on a big girl swing all by herself!
