(Week of Passover) Family Fun in Atlanta

With 24 people (including 5 under the age of 6), you know you're in for some fun!

When the entire house is already Pesadic, you have to shlep 24 people out to breakfast. Boy, were those staff excited to see us... :/ Here is a great picture of Mommy and Zayde trying to entertain the 4 cousins while the other adults attempt a nice meal.

Aunt Sandi helps Mira and Jacob learn how to feed and cuddle with baby Gabi! Mira and Jacob were so quick to warm up to Gabi. They were quite gentle and very sweet with their first female cousin.

We drag the group out again to dinner to vegetarian Chinese at Harmony.  Push tables together into a large section, stick us in the middle of the restaurant....there's bound to be spilled glasses of water and a whole lot of noise! Too bad for the other patrons trying to enjoy their meal.

Back at the homefront, kitchen staff gets to work preparing to feed a lot of people. (You may notice a great new Passover tradition of frog headbands, worn and shared by all participants.  Thank you, Aunt Sharon!)

Not sure if Aunt Syssa wants Gabi to inspect, stir, taste...?
Either way, I'm sure she's helping!

Even Flat Stanley was there to help!

Aunt Syssa and Zayde go outside to play with the older 3 cousins
(who have the gross motor skills to use the big toys).

Some cousins dress more appropriately for
the 30 degree weather than others...
(I blame the schools.)

Aunt Syssa and Uncle Craig help
Jacob help Gabi to her milk.

Uncle Craig feeds Gabi all
by himself like a big boy.

GREAT Aunt Susan with Gabi

Alpert women enjoy their time together. (Gigi, Aunt Susan, Nana, and Gabi)

How do you get rid of the extra Manishewitz wine from the seders? A new tradition of SANGRIA of course! Gabi liked her first taste! (...just kidding, for those authorities who don't recognize my sarcasm)

Great shot of Gabi looking straight at her Aunt Syssa...(who had just fed her sangria...hmmm)

Aunt Sharon, Uncle Dennis, Mommy, and Daddy went for a great hike at Stone Mountain. Thanks to the crew at home for watching Gabi!

See a pattern? I got SOME sleep in my own bed that week, but staying up until 3 in the morning each day didn't help much...

As is the normal tradition, Rayna and her ducklings come over to play on Passover. This time, Miri and Sam got to play with Gabi.

Nana and Zayde (and Tani) help Gabi with some tummy time.

Corn is now permissible on Passover according to SOME Ashkenazic rabbis,
but how do you eat it with no Pesadic corn holders?

amazing shot of Mommy and alert baby
.

After a long, exhausting week, kitten Tani needs to rest (but very stragetically on his comfort bag...).
