Team Cohen: Fun in Florida

After only a few days to recuperate from Passover, the three of us in Team Cohen traveled to Florida to visit with Daddy's family down there. Big girl Gabi is now incredibly into fans and lights, so that's about all she will be able to tell you from the visit. Below, you'll see images of what the rest of us enjoyed on our trip down in Ft. Lauderdale.

We also are STARTING to get some responsive smiles. (as opposed to the continued accidental smiles, which we'll take!) Grandma discovered, better than anyone else, that if you use the REALLY REALLY high pitch, annoying tone (that you hate how people talk to babies), you may get some really really cute smiles.

Who is modeling for whom?

And now for your week in pictures. We begin with Gabi's very first plane ride! Sitting in the very first row and boarding before the other passengers meant that every other person boarded after us and passed us. EVERYone reacted in one of 2 ways with their facial expressions: "AWWWWWW!" or "Aww man! A baby...:/..." But Gabi was an angel and slept the entire trip, both flights!

Monday afternoon, Gabi was so lucky to meet many of Daddy's family members. After already meeting Gigi over Passover, she was VERY excited to meet her other 3 living GREAT-grandparents! She is one very special and lucky gal. Nanny was so thrilled that Gabi's middle name was in memory and honor of Papa. Her face captures her love and excitement for Gabi more than any of my words can say:

Gabi met GREAT-Uncle Harris too who drove in from Ft. Myers to spend the day with us!

The next day, Uncle Joshie came over for a visit and a snuggle. He even knew just what color shirt to wear to coordinate with the princess.

On Wednesday, we got out for a bit and went for a beautiful stroll in a park with a pretty gazebo on the lake. Little Ms. Gabi was dressed and ready to go in her hat and sundress, thanks to Aunt Myra and cousins Rebecca and Benjamin! Gabi even models the outfit on Grandma and Grandpa's backyard hammock and lawn chair. You'll also notice that Mommy and Daddy still enjoy each other.

Gabi met the last of her aunts, uncles, and cousins (didn't even take her three months!) when Uncle Jason, Aunt Alana, Ashlyn, Landon, and Rylan came over. (To those observant viewers, Aunt Alana didn't want to give her germs to Gabi, so we didn't think to take any pictures with her... :/ )
