At the conclusion of Birthday Week 2024, Lordy Lordy, I turned 40.

Fun celebrations during the day:

Micah didn't understand why we had a "4" balloon for him and a "0" balloon for Aunt Debbie.

CohGils joined together for Shabbat Dinner - Fondue Edition.



Syssa wasn't supposed to join the festivities at all due to a work obligation but managed to squeeze in a fair amount of cheesy fondue goodness! And grateful to Jon for all the work he did for the meal; fondue chopping is no easy task.

Gabi designed a dessert dipping "cake" so that I could still blow out candles for the occasion.




Team Gilden went home, and I was in for one more surprise before the evening was called to an end.

Double Digits!

A full decade of life later, Ethan Robert turned TEN years old on September 4th! That's 2 FULL hands and a whole lot of fingers! Big guy grew almost 2 inches from this time last year, standing at 4 ft 5 in.

Gabi and Spencer were very eager to give Ethan the presents that they picked for him first thing in the morning.


Mommy visited Ethan during the school day and brought him a special lunch, and then instead of after school daycare, we picked up everyone straight from school!

We headed to The Art Garage for Ethan's Team Cohen birthday party. Out of dozens of projects to choose from, Ethan chose a glass fusion night light while Gabi and Spencer chose pottery painting kitties. We had some very creative kiddos express themselves that afternoon.






Back at home, we were excited to open Grandma and Grandpa's very exciting baseball themed gifts!

While birthday dinner was cooking, the threesome played very nicely together outside, using Ethan's brand new gifted presents received that morning.


Before the evening was through at the end of Ethan's 10th trip around the sun, the Gildens came over for ice cream cake.
