July 4

We had many exciting plans for celebrating the 4th of July, and several of them got cancelled because of rain. We took many lemons and made sweet lemonade throughout the day. We started with a slip 'n slide since it was wet outside anyway.


We went to the grocery store to pick up what we needed for patriotic waffles. We ended up picking up a couple of cousins too.

Team Gilden came over for Freedom Shabbat for the continued lemonade making on a wet and rainy day.

Freedom Shabbat Continued with a picnic dinner in the living room while watching "An American Tail."

Earlier that afternoon, Team Cohen had made patriotic (and gluten free!) rice krispie treats, which came out beautiful AND delicious.


After the movie was over, we headed outside for sparklers. It was only slightly sprinkling at that point.



After sparklers, we went searching for fireworks in the neighborhood - and found them!
