Gators Win the National Championship

After an incredibly successful Gator Men's Basketball season, Florida's team was headed to the National Championship - around the corner in San Antonio! We didn't know if/when another similar opportunity would arrive, so we bought 3 tickets, headed to SATX after school and had a glorious - and late - night. It didn't hurt that the Gators WON!!!


We arrived at the Fan Fest about an hour before it closed and enjoyed several activities there.







On to the Alamodome for the National Championship Game!


Up to the nosebleed section where they don't even turn on the lights.

It was a stressful and close game for both teams, but in the end, Florida Gators were victorious!

Let the celebration begin!

We ran downstairs to get as close as we could to the court and the thousands of fellow celebrating Gator fans.

When dancing and celebrating, I ran into good friend Jared who flew in from Florida for the occasion!

Snuggled up with our Albert stuffie, we headed back to Austin, arriving at 1:30 in the morning. What a night that was well worth the insanity!
