Misc. April 2025

Jumping right into the miscellaneous April post with miscellaneous pictures:

If you squint, you can see the
rainbow in front of our house.

Coach Craig bought Sonic slushies
for the whole baseball team.

Ethan and Spencer each made creative name projects, both using objects not typically meant for creative play; one requiring slightly more time and effort than the other.

sweet, simple moment

Ethan's art was featured at the
district's elementary art exhibition.

Early in April was the end of the March Madness college basketball tournament, and our Florida Gators did a whole lot of winning. Ethan was excited to sport the apparel as much as he could from Texas.

Soccer and baseball seasons continued strong in April.

Go Fire Dragons!

Go Marlins!

Tourette Camp and Houston Trip

Gabi had her once a year opportunity to attend a camp for kids in Texas with Tourette Syndrome. Mommy and Gabi went on a road trip, and while Gabi was away, Mommy got to play in Houston sans other CohEns.

I was leaving her in quite a gorgeous setting.

Then, Momma was on her own!

In the morning, I drove Jacob to high school. Then, pups and I went home to work from Chez CohAn.

In the afternoon, Mor and I played hooky from work and spent several lovely hours catching up.

Eventually, we picked up her kiddos from school and spent time with them as well.

Eric came home from work duty; Mor and I kept talking for several more lovely hours; and we outlasted everyone else until I left at a ridiculously late time of night.

I spent sweet time with Team Cohan's 4-legged crew - even kitty Sammy, who doesn't frequent those he doesn't know.

On Saturday evening, I had the extreme privilege of being a fly on the (windy) wall and watching beautiful Mira and friends get ready for Senior Prom!

On Sunday morning, I drove back to camp to pick up Gabi after a successful and apparently tiring weekend.

Camp Du Balon Rouge (Camp of the Red Balloon) continued their 20+-year-old tradition of releasing (bio-degradable) red balloons with each cabin's wishes attached to them.

On our way out of camp, Gabi excitedly found a car advertising the very show that her brothers were about to star in next month.

Gabi and I headed home for a full family reunion with all those we had left behind.
