We were picked up at the airport in the party bus and took the party out to Olive Garden, party of 12, for lunch.
We checked into the hotel and took a minute for some r & r.
(Note the 2 different rooms for the same group of deprived children.) |
The man of the hour (and his parents) made a brief appearance, and we were very honored to be graced by such a celebrity (and his parents).
We headed to Shabbat dinner to officially kick off the celebratory weekend.

Night 1 OUT |
It was evening; it was morning. And there were whipped cream and sprinkles for the hotel waffles!
We cleaned up nicely to head to Shabbat services where Noah kicked his preparation out of the park and made everyone there extremely proud.
PARTY BUS!
Through the power of streaming technology, I was able to capture these moments from Noah's service. (Unlike how the pictures indicate, Noah did an incredible amount of great leadership during the service, and the rest of us family members were honored to participate in small ways.)
During the "break" between services and the party at night, (after a few of us took naps), we went exploring the trail by our hotel along lovely Lake Cochituate.
Weren't we all surprised when Aunt Syssa and Aunt Debbie discovered how to be fun and spontaneous vacationers, and we took the children out on paddleboats.
On Trip 1, the adults did all the hard pedaling work with Speshicah, and on Trip 2, JoEthan took over the reins while the adults relaxed.
Waiting in the lobby before the night's party:
In Noah's honor, Aunt Mandy and Uncle Mitch hosted an epic party at Launch Trampoline Park. It was fun for many ages!
18 years later, we had a lovely reunion of the bridesmaids and flower girls from Mitch and Mandy's wedding:
OG's!
Night 2 OUT |
On Sunday, Aunt Mandy and Uncle Mitch hosted brunch at their house - which was apparently mostly exciting because of the prized visitations with Princess Sofia.
Ten beautiful and smiling cousins!
At the airport, CohGils spend a few more moments together before parting ways on separate flights.
