CNZ in Driftwood

Gabi was privileged to have TWO (!!) sessions at CNZ (Camp Nana Zayde) this summer. One was in Atlanta like last year, and the camp opened up a new session in Driftwood this year. Gabi certainly thrives off 1-on-1 attention and energy, and this week proved that once again.

Having just gotten braces installed 5 minutes before being dumped at her grandparents, she was spoiled with ice cream, daily popsicles, pudding, and all sorts of other glorious soft foods. Every day included pool time and a field trip and very little other advanced plans. Who wants to sign up for next year?!

Before we begin to tell the Gabi story, we should report on the true victim of the week: Little puppers was also signed up for the week of CNZ without her consent. She was not happy about it.

Luckily, Reggie's big sister was a fellow camper and helped ease the pain of being away from her mommy.

Their first field trip took them back to the Art Garage where Gabi was thrilled to do more glass fusion.

Next day's field trip visited the Exotic Resort Zoo, where Gabi quickly used up the huge pile of food that Nana and Zayde bought and then scraped up enough from the floor to get her through the rest of the animal friends.

Visiting with the babies at the end of the tour proved valuable for Gabi.

Time around the house seems to have been ok too.

Gabi purportedly worked very hard on this stop motion video one afternoon.

With immense gratitude for all staff at CNZ, my baby girls were very well taken care of!
