Gabi Turns 11!

My teeniest of tiny baby girls has somehow circled the Earth ELEVEN (11!!) times. I can no longer pick her up; I need her to sit down to help her with her hair; and she's out of fingers to count the number of years she has.

Gabi woke up on her birthday at the shul school Shabbaton with friends. I told her the last January 28th she didn't wake up at our house was in 2013. When she returned home, she was greeted with a festive house and wide-open celebratory arms.

On our way to her birthday celebration that night, it was decided that 11-year-old Gabi - at 5 ft 2.75 in (The .75 is important because it puts her at a quarter inch shorter than Mommy) - is adult-sized enough to SIT IN THE FRONT SEAT OF A VEHICLE!

(There was a CohGil trade for anyone with attention to detail.)

Blog stalkers are encouraged to view the Gattitown post for fun and family there. The punchline is that we returned home at 9:00 that night. Which was obviously time for ice cream cake!

Happy Birthday, beautiful tween!
