November 2022

What's left of November is a bunch of great family experiences...and a circus update.

Dewey's ok if he has enough to eat (which is never).

"How do I get any extra food around here???"

Bri's ok if she's center of attention...and if Mommy's not working.

Sweet senior Maggie puts up with so much and is still so ok with the chaos she's been given. Don't count her out yet.

Reggie is always ready to extend a 75 lb snuggle.

Sometimes, the kitties hang out in their own bed.

Sometimes, the kitties join the human babies in their bed.

Reggie had an extended sleepover party with Team Gilden while we traveled to Maryland and Virginia earlier this month. They seem to have done just fine.

And speaking of Gildens -

We joined the little turkeys at school this month for Thanksgiving festivities.

For our anniversary, we celebrated 15 years by smashing so much fragile stuff. It was perfect.

We also had some little date crashers that weren't there 15 years ago but certainly add to the fun now.

If these kids weren't amusing or this nutty, we wouldn't be able to survive the rest of it.

Special times with Daddy this month:

Daddy took Ethan roller skating this month.

Daddy took Spencer to an indoor playground this month:

Mommy got some special time too, first painting with Amira and then at fro yo with E-man!

And we conclude November with the following:

Thanksgiving 2022

Once again, we were thankful for the gift of a home away from home to be able to spend Thanksgiving with Nana and Zayde at the Kaye Kompound in Driftwood. Team Cohen arrived days earlier than any other guest, and we were grateful to spend some "quiet" time with *just* us.

On our first day, the Cohen crazies did a science experiment together with Nana and Zayde, seeing the effects of different materials combined together. When the process didn't work as expected at first, they had to think scientifically to figure out a different solution.

Walking to the clubhouse:

Ethan cuddles:

We had a little bit more Team Cohen time before additional company arrived.

Welcome, Aunt Sandi. Welcome, Team Gilden. When friends asked if my whole family came in, my answer was that it was *only* 13 of us.

Field Trip to the playground:

Fun in the front yard:

Daddy took Gabi to the front of the community to visit with the longhorns.

Happy Birthday, Aunt Sandi!

Uncaptioned togetherness sums up our time together:

So much to be thankful for!
