September 2022

Birthdays, holidays, vacations - OH MY! Here's the rest. We start off with togetherness and teamwork.

Ethan/Mommy snuggles

Quality Inspector Spencer makes sure Gabi oils the bread appropriately.

Gabi smiles at the playground:

The animals are happy as long as we're together:

Puppers has to make sure to be right where we are.

Or maybe it is we who are in her space?

Speaking of pitiful pups, Reggie had to enter the cone of shame this month when she needed to give her poor paw a break from licking.

In other animal news, don't count Maggie out yet! My sweet senior knows how to be friendly and get exactly what she wants.

Ethan Robert turned 8 at the beginning of this month. Nana and Zayde found time to generously buy him his new 2-wheeled vehicle, the Green Giant.

The new 8-year-old is quite the man of wisdom:

Mommy and Daddy snuck away for 8 days this month and came back with some gifts for everyone.

If these beautiful people aren't ready for 5783, I don't know who is. Shanah Tovah!

And finally, this month's version of, "Why are they there?"

While You Were Out

While Mommy and Daddy sent picture and video updates from our wonderful time in Washington, Nana and Zayde sent us picture evidence to keep us apprised of the happenings in Texas.

Little man started BIG kid soccer! We were sad to miss the occasion but very happy to get the photos.

Soccer Superstar Spencer seemed spectacular!

Ethan also got exactly where he needed to be.

We received plenty of circus updates:

Pool party in Driftwood!

Lessons I learned from my parents: Whiny kids call for ice cream.

Spencer got sick. Then, he got better.

We video chatted with our babies daily.

Another weekend, more soccer!

Friends told us, "Don't worry about anything while you're gone! Your kids will be just fine." We explained that it wasn't our kids we were worried about...Nana and Zayde kept everyone and everything in mostly one piece, and we couldn't be more grateful!
