Mitzvah Fest/Tu B'shvat

Tu B'shvat (the Jewish birthday of the trees) coincided this year with Martin Luther King Jr. day. In honor of both occasions, our synagogue hosted a Mitzvah Fest featuring projects and agencies that help make the world a better and more environmentally friendly place. Our kids were mostly excited about planting a tree and riding on the (fully electric, zero-emission) bus.
