2 days later, we showed up to squeeze some FOUR-year-old love into Shayna. This time, we succeeded in making it a quick trip.
The Cohen kiddos were very very eager to paint their pumpkins following Texas Pumpkin Fest and repeatedly asked when the fateful day would come, completely forgetting that we paint pumpkins every single year together at the Gilden house at something called a birthday party. Every. Single. Year. AND FINALLY, the day of the birthday party arrived!!! Aunt Syssa upped her birthday party game this year with additional canvases to paint in the form of initials and backdrops.
Here is the the mid-morning update on the initials crafting accomplished thus far, including those that wanted to be in a picture and those who did not.
Post nap, soccer, and some wardrobe changes, our attention turned back to the pumpkins to prepare them for the season by the front door.
Pause for ice cream cake!

Happy Birthdays, Gildens! We're always so happy to celebrate together. See ya around, sometime.
