Capitol Detour

Since Gabi was 3, she has been participating in a longitudinal science study at the Child Research Lab at the University of Texas. We were returning for the beginning of our next session, and it occurred to me that we have been driving past the Texas Capitol Building a few times every year and waving to it but never visiting up close. On a beautiful Saturday morning, I asked Gabi on a whim, "Hey, do you want to see the Capitol when we're done at UT?" She sure did!
