Paint Party/Fun in The Sun

Flashback 10 months ago to October 2015. I took Gabi pottery painting to decorate a plate to hold her very own Shabbat candles to light every week. Ten months later, she can now light independently and loves the experience of having her own plate and candles.

Ethan may not be as old as Gabi was then, but he watches Gabi and his parents light every week.  Even though he looks forward to blowing out the match, there is a sad look in his eyes that is eager to participate more. We decided it was time to take big man for his very first pottery painting experience so that he too can become an active participant on Friday nights, and he enjoyed making his own special plate! Big sister chose to paint a turtle too.



Just a block away in the same area was a fun splash pad, and we came prepared to splash! The kids had a blast running and playing in the water.

There is something magnetic about kids and water, and the looks of joy on their faces fill our hearts with joy.


It was a good day.
