February 2016

After such an exciting end of January, we were happy to calm down and have an easy February. We got back to routine, reestablished some semblance of structure, and still managed a few good times here and there. With today's digital technology, you snap what you snap and you blog with what you've got. Here's what we got for miscellaneous February fun:

dancing with the rabbi at Shabbat 'N Play

We'll most likely regret this in the summer, but for now, we had SEVERAL sunny February days in the gorgeous upper 70s. We definitely took advantage of the lovely outside weather.

enjoying the fruits of Gabi's birthday
(tricycle from Nana and Zayde;
balance bike & AWESOME helmet from Gigi)
saying "Thank you, Gigi!"

And then THIS happened right in front of our house. It doesn't get too much more exciting than that.

More sunny, outside fun!

typical February outfits, right?

Gabi climbed into the stroller, so Ethan also thought it was time for a stroller walk.

Speaking of stroller walk, this is what happens when each kid gets into the separate stroller AND Mommy is lazy:

Ethan's February spotlight:

This may not be as important to anyone else, but this is THE FIRST time
EVER that Ethan has eaten Mommy's eggs!

We all survived Ethan's first haircut when Mommy sneaked in a few snips one morning. Hello handsome!

Ethan's very first lollipop (followed immediately by his 2nd and 3rd...thank you, Nana and Zayde)

Ethan's language made great progress this month. My 2 favorites are going from 'Mama' to "Mommy" and FINALLY adding the second syllable in "uh OH." (It had been "uhhhh" for quite a while.) He will walk around the house or sit in his car seat repeating "Mommy! Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!" until I recognize him, and then he'll say "HI!" Ethan has more words and signs than ever and is starting to identify animals and animal sounds really well. His 2 most favorite animals so far that will get him REALLY excited are "duKH" (duck pronounced with Hebrew account) and fish which he signs very very enthusiastically while saying "dah."
Ethan shows off some skills (with a lovely assistant).

Enjoying a sweet treat of frozen yogurt:

Dress up "fun" (??)

These 2 are lucky they're cute...
It'll keep them alive for a while.

night night hugs - Lilah Tov!

See you next month!
