Thanksgiving 2015

We had a nice long extended Thanksgiving this year. Nana and Zayde came in for over a week. Aunt Sandi brought Mira and Jacob for 4 days. And of course, we had lots of good visits with Aunt Syssa, Uncle Craig, and baby Joey. We made a new pumpkin or sweet potato dessert each day, ate more Thanksgiving sides than ever before, and stuck to the pumpkin/sweet potato theme more creatively than ever before.

Getting into the holiday spirit:

Both my kids love doing floor time with cousin Joey:

Big cousin/sister Gabi reads to the little boys:

Extra long visits mean extra time with family and extra yummy food!

Now's the part in the blog where YOU play along! How are the following 2 pictures alike? How are they different?

On Saturday night, we had the "turkey" dinner with tons and tons and tons of other foods to feast on as well! The Hammonds family came over, and Gabi and Nora played beautifully as usual!

But where are all the adults?

They don't care!

It's never easy to say 'Goodbye':

On Sunday morning, before everyone heads home, we go to a Chabad-sponsored Menorah making workshop at Home Depot. It's beginning to look a lot less like Thanksgiving and a lot more like Channukah!
