Getting Ready for Baby Brother

Baby Brother will be joining us in just a few months, so it's time to start getting ready.  Gabi is getting big girl furniture so that baby brother can use the nursery furniture. Before the furniture could be moved over to his room, though, we needed to give it some color. Everyone did his and her part to help get the room painted. Gabi helped Mommy tape, and even Aunt Syssa came to join the fun!

At first, Gabi observes to watch how it's done.

Nikki even peaks in to see if she's interested but decides she's probably not.

With her new confidence, Gabi is ready to do it on her own!

When all is said and done, observers will say "great job painting," but the real credit goes to the tapers...I know.

Gabi watches instructional videos to ensure a professional-looking paint job, and then she lets us know that she's ready to roll!

Perhaps, we'll let the (non-pregnant) adults do this job...
