On the Move

Regardless of the amazing mobility progress Gabi has made, she has showed VERY little interest in any walker or push toy...That was until our OT came up with the crazy idea to try them outside and then WOAH, WATCH OUT! She took off!!!

Texas Spring

Our little Texan is now here for her first spring, and apparently bluebonnet pictures is a required springtime event... And since my tendency is to pretty much ALWAYS do what is expected of me, I obliged. ANNOUNCEMENT

Gabi wanted to share an announcement publicly and officially. Gabi's parents are 17.5 weeks pregnant with a beautiful and so far extremely healthy baby BOY. We are so grateful for these amazing blessings that our family is receiving and can't wait for more to come!

He certainly has the length from Jon's family and is measuring in the 94th percentile already, while he has the sass from me as he was slightly uncooperative at the appointment this morning.

Marvelous March

Once again, Team Cohen has had a great month of March. We did some fun traveling, and those adventures are featured in other blog posts. Our 14-month-old princess has continued to blossom INCREDIBLY with her gross motor skills. She rarely scoots any more as she crawls with her tummy off the floor almost everywhere. She can pull up to stand on ANYTHING, and she'll cruise around and around and around. Corners? No (longer a) problem! Walls? Backs of couches? ANY SURFACE? Please, no problem!

March 28, 2014: This happy baby is 14-months-old!!!

Florida Fun

With the great excuse of a friend's wedding, Team Cohen ventured to Florida to visit family and friends down there. (If you're paying attention and doing the math correctly - Yes, we went to New Mexico the day after Houston. Yes, we went to Florida the day after New Mexico. Yes, we spent a night in Austin in between each trip. Yes, it was pretty crazy.)

Gabi was very excited to have a whole seat to herself on the airplane ride.

She read nicely! She ate nicely!

She played (and even slept) nicely!

Which made for very happy parents (and fellow passengers)!

Grandma and Grandpa invited a lot of Grandma's family over to play with us. While waiting for everyone to arrive, Gabi discovers the baby in the giant mirror wall! Unfortunately, the adorable kisses Gabi was giving that cute baby wasn't caught on camera, but she enjoyed socializing with that baby very much!

What a great looking bunch! Thanks to all Sachs (and related) family members for coming out to play with us!

Another great reason to travel to Florida was to attend long-time friend, Israel travel buddy, Gator alum, and past-roommate's wedding! Mazel Tov to Jared and Marni!

While the parents are away, the grandparents will play! Happy babysitter Grandma takes Gabi out in her car while Mommy and Daddy are dancing at the wedding.

Grandma and Grandpa had a blanket made with lovely pictures of Gabi, and this little modest and humble baby just loved admiring the beauty.

On Monday morning, we play around the house, and Gabi enjoys crawling under the Grandma bridge.

On Monday night, it was time for Grandpa's family to get together!

Gabi was so excited to finally meet Aunt Marsha and just loved giving her kisses!

Gabi is so lucky to be able to spend time with so many GREAT-grandparents. Here she says goodbye to Grandma Millie:

The next morning Mommy wakes up really sick and ends up spending the day in bed. There are still friends and family to visit with, so that doesn't stop Gabi and Daddy from continuing their Florida fun.
