As has been recent tradition, Team Cohen spent Thanksgiving with our fellow Texas family at Nana and Zayde's house in Driftwood. Upon first arriving, we needed to prep the birthday decorations for guest of honor Aunt Sandi's pending arrival.
A couple of cool kids decided to try out the pool temps (in November). They were in, screaming, and out so quickly that no one even captured the intense reaction on video.

Nana and Zayde's ranch neighborhood hosted a Longhorn Pen Bonfire, which seemed too fun to pass up.

On our 16th wedding anniversary, we had a day with our family and wanted to do something a little different. Off to San Marcos to Wonder World Cave & Adventure Park.
We began with an exploration of the park's primary attraction, the ancient earthquake cave.
After the cave, we went up to the top of the Observation Tower (that is now shut down to visitors unless you can convince a tour guide to take you up there, which we, in fact, did).
Next up, we went inside the Anti-Gravity House that was truly a topsy-turvy experience.
We stopped to play on the swings and visit the local wildlife.
And last, but not least, we climbed on a very old, very rusty, and very fun fire truck.
Daddy and Ethan have enjoyed bonding over their mutual love for sushi. It is quite a costly hobby, so Daddy was determined to figure out how to make it (good enough) at home. Below was our first-ever attempt, and it was enough of a success that more attempts followed!
