Misc. June 2025

June was a mostly laid-back month in Chez Cohen, sandwiched between the chaos of the school year and the excitement of CYJ. Here are the miscellaneous pictures and videos we got from the month, starting with Spencer's demand for pictures of any and all moments. I've created a picture monster.

Gabi kept up with her horse lessons this month. She walked a horse through a creek, learned how to train on groundwork, and even did an obstacle course inside the arena.

Special Mommy time!

Special Spesh time! (with some other CohGil guests)

Like many around the world, we proudly celebrated Pride Month.

Ethan had special time at CNZ this month in Atlanta with Nana and Zayde. We were excited when he came home.

Team Cohen enjoyed a youth theater production of The Little Mermaid together.

Team Cohen's fur friends are presented this month in getting alongly-like pairs:

Reggie & Bri

Squirrel & Bri

Squirrel & Dewey

Dewey & Nikki

Bonus Bri:

Until next month, I leave you with this Spencer moment of Zen:

Special Aunt/Mommy/Micah Time

5-year-old Micah has been my "therapy baby" since he was born during a time of worldwide stress when everything was shut down for COVID. In the 5 years since, he has had to succumb to long-winded, rocking hugs as Aunt Debbie gets her endorphins released. My sweet nephew now enthusiastically runs to me to share these hugs, and I love every bit of it. When he requested "Special Mommy/Aunt Debbie time" one afternoon, weren't we amazed that we could make it happen! Family-friendly improv downtown followed by pretty special donuts. Aunt Debbie loves you, Micah!

All Star Baseball

Ethan was pretty proud to make it to his baseball league's ALL STAR team for the short but intense summer season. Daddy and Ethan went to the Centex Opening Ceremonies at Dell Diamond one night to celebrate the start of the season. He got to walk around the field!

Apparently, being an All Star means paying for getting new and personalized helmets, hats, uniforms, bags, necklaces, and on and on...

Looking good! With three practices a week, the team got ready for their multiple-game weekends, even having sliding practice one afternoon with a slip n slide!

Thank you, Coach Stephen, for helping them look good beyond their uniforms!

Shout out to the Ethan fans who cheered the all-star player on for three games every weekend!

This kid LOVES this game and loved his All Star Season!

Special thanks to the coach's sister-in-law for the following truly great shots from throughout the season.
