1 Month Old

Believe it or not, big girl Gabriella Daphna is ONE MONTH OLD already! 1-month-old Gabi may have less hair than she did a week or two ago, but she is growing beautifully!!

Gabi has gained over a pound and a half in just 2 weeks, weighing in at 7 lbs 9 oz! (She was just 6 lbs 2 weeks ago).  She went from 2nd percentile in weight to 9th!  Big girl stretches to 21 inches, putting her at the 46th percentile in length!  Her thighs are getting chunkier; she's awake and alert more and more; and we are simply amazed that she continues to get cuter and cuter.

She behaved AMAZINGLY for her photo shoot (making her mommy SOOO proud); how could I ever choose just one picture to post?
(Shout-out and THANK YOU to Rabbi Eytan and Staci Kenter for the adorable outfit for which we're receiving plenty of compliments! And her accessorizing blanket was made for Gabi by her mommy. )

Just as we kicked off Gabi's first week with a stellar ice cream party, we celebrated her first month in the same style!

Operation Favorite Nana

Having no other competition, Nana doesn't have to work too hard to be the favorite.  (Grandma is comfortable with her "favorite Grandma position" too.)  Nonetheless, Nana just had to come back to visit, snuggle, and love on Gabi who is the closest geographical grandchild to her; how is she supposed to stay away from such cuteness?

Ready for My Stroller Walk

Nana bought the cutest jacket for the winter baby.  Gabi was all bundled up and ready to go for a stroller walk!

Happy Birthday, Maggie!

Happy Birthday, big girl MAGGIE!  On February 26, 2013 you turned a big SIX years old, which is a pretty old lady in cat years! We love you, and we're so glad and proud that you remain the snuggle muffin angel even with the transition of your new sister!

Four Weeks Old

Four-week-old Gabi is beautiful, sweet, and amazingly perfect.  Her neck muscles are getting super strong; she is showing signs of intentional smiling; and she continues to light up our lives every day!  This may sound mushy, but it's the truth, and we are head-over-heels in love!

Operation Favorite Aunt, Part 2

Having called Aunt Erica an "amateur," Aunt Sandi came to show Gabi how it's done.  Aunt Sandi spent the weekend attempting to brainwash her niece (as all aunts will).  Only time will tell who Gabi chooses as the coveted favorite aunt...

Having JUST gotten off the plane, Aunt Sandi throws her stuff down, gives Gabi her brand new Houston hat, and steals her for the rest of the weekend.
